This 3.5 hour online public training course will provide practical guidance on how to manage contractual relationships including setting safety standards, tender criteria, ongoing management systems and processes for review – all crucial aspects in demonstrating Due Diligence in this area. It will allow participants to analyse their own organisation’s Contractor Management program
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Interpret legal requirements pertaining to the management of Contractors.
- Identify hazards in the workplace, assess their level of risk and implement controls.
- Contractor Management Framework and Systems.
- Contractor selection
- Contractor performance, measurement and monitoring
- Importance of close out and evaluation
- Identify possible changes in the work environment and implement controls or buffers to make the change manageable.
- Implement strategies to build a safety culture.
All our trainers are qualified and experienced WHS Consultants who have worked across many industry sectors.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Remote delivery by zoom.
