Due Diligence for Managers is a 3.5 hour online public training course which provides Officers and Senior Managers with the knowledge necessary to effectively exercise their positive Duty of Care and manage safety in their workplace. This course will provide a clear, practical insight into the important role of your organisation’s “Officers” and Senior Management Team, their legal obligations, prosecution risks and measures necessary to give full and proper effect to the Management responsibility requirements of your WHS Management System.
The subjects covered within this course are:
- The WHS Act and your WHS legislative duties.
- Determining “Reasonably Practicable”.
- The courts and regulators expectations of your organisation and its Officers.
- Demonstrating the importance of your WHS Management System and the role you play in maintaining its relevance, credibility and contributing to its improvement – ‘Due Diligence’.
- Implications of the national harmonisation WHS laws.
- Process improvements, implementation and positive change.
- WHS penalties.
All our trainers are qualified and experienced WHS Consultants who have worked across many industry sectors.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance. Remote delivery by zoom.
