Construction Industry Profile 2015

Safe Work Australia has released data relating to injuries incurred by workers employed in the construction industry as well as work-related fatalities.

The data shows that ACT constructions sites recorded the highest incidence rate of serious claims with 29.0 claims per 1000 workers while Victoria had the lowest with 12.9. Tasmania recorded the largest decrease of any jurisdiction with a 26% decrease over the five year period.
